Tonda Iblea is a treasured variety of olives in Sicily, from which a high quality extra virgin olive oil is obtained with a very low degree of acidity, noted with a veiled green color and a fruity scent and flavor. Tonda Iblea entices the senses with notes of green tomato, almond, and artichoke.

This beautiful ceramic pottery jar is hand painted and decorated with pomegranates. It contains the beautiful and friendly oil from Tonda Iblea olives. These are a favorite cultivar in Sicily. It is crafted in Cassaro, a small village of 600 people in the Monte Iblei area of southeast Sicily. It is unique to Olio2go!

It pairs beautifully with a variety of Mediterranean staples, including roasted meats, grilled vegetables, salads, soups, and bruschetta.

As these are hand-crafted, there will be variations in the design. The wood stoppers may also change.
