Case d'Alto Coevo Ravece Organic Extra Virgin Olive Oil 2024
Case d'Alto Coevo Ravece Organic Extra Virgin Olive Oil 2024
description
Fresh, new harvest Novello!
We met Rocco and Claudio from Case d'Alto in Verona, and we were entranced by their Ravece monocultivar selection, produced under the Coevo label. From the town of Grottaminarda in the Province of Avellino, in the Region of Campania, the farm is located far inland from Salerno and Naples.
Tasting Notes: Notable intensity. The aroma opens up decisively and enveloping, rich in hints of tomato leaf and medium ripe tomato, enhanced by herbal notes of basil, mint and sage. The taste is both complex and elegant, with a large vegetable elements, memorable of including broad beans, lettuce, and celery. Bitter powerful and spicy.
Visit our blog for a video of Claudio discussing his favorite pairings.
Good accompaniment for bruschetta with tomato, swordfish carpaccio, artichoke salads, marinated tuna, bean soup, pasta with porcini mushrooms, blue fish au gratin, roasted game, and aged cheeses.
Note: the bottle shape has changed. The photo will be updated.
