Only made once a year, these Colomba cakes are shaped like a Dove, as beautiful to look at as they taste! These springtime cakes are a similar recipe to Christmas panettone. 

The Colomba is rich in chocolate morsels. It is a spectacularly moist and fragrant and is topped with crunchy candied sugar to create an delightful flavor combination. This Albertengo Colomba is perfect in the morning, afternoon, or evening.

Ingredients: wheat flour, chocolate 18% (cocoa paste, sugar, cocoa butter, glucose; emulsifier: soy lecithin), egg yolk, butter, natural yeast (wheat flour, water), raw cane sugar, glucose-fructose syrup, emulsifier: mono-and di-glycerides of fatty acids; invert sugar syrup, barley malt, salt, flavoring agents. Ingredients of Icing and Decoration: sugar, almonds, egg white, "Piedmont Hazelnut" 1,0%, kernels, rice flour. May contain other nuts and mustard. Store in a cool and dry place.
