Tamia Novello Organic Extra Virgin Olive Oil 2024 (Pre-Order)

Our friend Pietro Re made the great introduction for the olive oils from Tamia in the Tuscia region of central Italy. Tuscia’s volcanic soil provides essential minerals to the fruit-bearing trees and helps form the oil's distinct characteristics.

Tamia Novello is a filtered oil with a strong and notable flavor of just-pressed green olives from the orchard. The olives are the Leccino variety. It is very grassy to the nose, with green nuances to the palate, with notes of wild chicory, Tamia Novello has a very long lasting and warm peppery finish. It is very balanced and velvety. Spoil yourself with this new selection! 

This is an excellent selection for field greens, especially field greens with garden herbs. We also like it with fish, creamy vegetable soups, beans and grains, red meats and pastas.
