Plump, with a tender pillowy texture, Rustichella d’Abruzzo Potato Gnocchi have the delicate flavor of fresh potatoes. In Italy, gnocchi are often served as a first course (primo piatto) instead of pasta. Gnocchi are perfect for rich, hearty preparations such as sausage and leek ragù, or butter-and-cream-based sauces. For a light side dish, toss the gnocchi with a freshly prepared tomato and basil sauce.

Rustichella d'Abruzzo, found deep in the Vestine hills of Abruzzo, is a family farm focused on using the best ingredients for their famous pasta selections. The best durum wheat semolina is selected and mixed with mountain water with the same care and tradition of the past. The exclusive bronze mold gives the pasta its special coarseness, which aids better absorption of sauces and improves any type of recipe.

The low drying temperature, which takes 40-60 hours depending on the shapes, preserves the nutritional value of the pasta, and the flavor of the wheat comes across wonderfully during cooking.
